Timeline

2021

  • 20-25th July: Celebration at Zhukovsky of the MAKS-2021 AirShow with the presence of one Tu-144, the restored CCCP-77115 in the exhibition area and a second Tu-144 in the main gate of the airbase, the aircraft CCCP-77114.

2023

  • 24th May: Several mass media announces that MAKS-2023 AirShow has been cancelled due to “security concerns” and postponed to 2024. The 16th International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2023 was to be held in Zhukovsky in the Moscow Region on July 25-30, 2023.

2024

  • 25th June: According to the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation, the MAKS AirShow will not be held in 2024 and will be held online instead, called eMAKS-2024. The 16th MAKS International Aviation and Space Salon is scheduled for the summer of 2025.

2025

  • 30th June: State Corporation Rostec and its subsidiary Aviasalon, organizers of the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS, announce that the exhibition will be held online for the second consecutive year. eMAKS-2025 will take place on July 22-27, 2025.

  • 2nd September: The restoration of the Tu-144, registered CCCP-77110, is announced. It is currently on display at the Ulyanovsk Civil Aviation Museum.
