Works on this aircraft were stopped in 1985 when the Tu-144 program was cancelled. She was never reclaimed and her unfinished hulk remained in open-air storage. In 2006 a Russian TV reported of the existence of a Tu-144 in Voronezh factory, but the VASO authorities often deny the presence of this aircraft in their facilities. |
